Comcast Inserts 400 Lines of Javascript Into Every Page You Load; You Can’t Stop It

And yes, they do admit it, but what are you gonna do?  Leave?

You can’t.  Because in most places, Comcast is your only option.

Why?  Because government regulates who can be an ISP.

So as every dummy rushes to “break the internet” tomorrow in support of the lie that is Net Neutrality, understand the real problem is government-caused in the first place.

Google To Hire 10,000 Staffers To Opaquely Censor “Extremist” Content

Google has announced the latest escalation in its battle to censor “extremist” content on its platforms, a covert campaign to censor conservative voices.

The company plans to hire 10,000 staffers whose sole jobs will be tracking down extremist content that might violate Youtube’s terms of service, according to YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki.

Wojcicki said that “bad actors” had used the video-sharing site to “mislead, manipulate, harass or even harm” others.

Per the Hill, the announcement comes after British Prime Minister Theresa May pressured social media companies to remove radical content after a series of deadly terror-related attacks this year in the United Kingdom.

Don’t worry y’all.  I’m sure this will be evenly applied across all political spectrums and ideologies and totally not be used for political purposes.

Nothing to worry about.

Twitter Admits It Ran Interference on Podesta Email Leaks

Since I know some of you are going to just disregard this because of the source, the testimony is linked to the House page.

Before the election, we also detected and took action on activity relating to hashtags that have since been reported as manifestations of efforts to interfere with the 2016 election. For example, our automated spam detection systems helped mitigate the impact of automated Tweets promoting the #PodestaEmails hashtag, which originated with Wikileaks’ publication of thousands of emails from the Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s Gmail account.

The core of the hashtag was propagated by Wikileaks, whose account sent out a series of 118 original Tweets containing variants on the hashtag #PodestaEmails referencing the daily installments of the emails released on the Wikileaks website. In the two months preceding the election, around 57,000 users posted approximately 426,000 unique Tweets containing variations of the #PodestaEmails hashtag.

Approximately one quarter (25%) of those Tweets received internal tags from our automation detection systems that hid them from searches.

As described in greater detail below, our systems detected and hid just under half (48%) of the Tweets relating to variants of another notable hashtag, #DNCLeak, which concerned the disclosure of leaked emails from the Democratic National Committee.

Do I need to draw a diagram here?  And to think, amidst all this “help” Clinton got, she still blames the Russians, and she still lost.

Twitter literally systematically hid damaging tweets.  This is no longer in the realm of theory or conspiracy tin-foil-hattery.

Google’s “Diversity” Not Representative of US Population

Every time diversity scolds go after someone, they talk about wanting a more “representative sample” of America in which you have to have precisely the appropriate mix of skin tones to meet the criteria of social justice warriors everywhere.

Last week Google proclaimed it was making excellent progress on diversity.  Here’s the chart they shared, pointing out it was progress but that they had work to do.

Unless America has completely changed its demographics, these numbers are completely unrepresentative, as is obvious.  Unless of course white people have slid off the demographic scale and Asians are taking over the country.

Not to mention the gender chart, which shows a major bit of lopsidedness as well as only two genders; I thought Google loved the new multi-gender world?

Everything about this report belies everything they say they stand for.

Government Is The Root Cause of Wannacry. Period.

Funny that people are so willing to blame Microsoft for a vulnerability that the NSA stored, stockpiled, and intended to use against US citizens, and will impart no responsibility whatsoever on said agency.

Hold the government accountable for all these screw ups, not Microsoft. They’re the ones responsible. And Microsoft is not happy about the NSA’s behavior either. Brad Smith, Microsoft’s president and chief legal officer, called out the feds for its responsibility for these threats to citizens
